Daisy

I made a new friend. Her name is Daisy. She's an old girl who is starting to develop kidney disease. But she still rolls in the grass and wags her tail. She's sweet and rests her head against your leg wanting you to keep petting her. Here's to hoping that she lives a few more summers yet, to go down to the river for a swim :) Трансляция проекта Fotorss.ru. | | Friday, July 14th, 2006 | | 2:00 pm |
Jesse

This is my step-sister's youngest daughter. If I were my step-sister, I'd carry a biiiiig stick, because she's going to be a heart-breaker!! Трансляция проекта Fotorss.ru. | | Wednesday, July 12th, 2006 | | 2:00 pm |

Finally a sunset

Seems like it's been painfully gre/ay around here this summer. Not overly rainy mind you, though we have had some. No, just lots of fog and haze. A day can start out foggy, burn off to gorgeous by 10am and then be a nice shade of "too white to look at the clouds" white by noon. Shooting anything with a gre/ay white sky is nearly pointless (in terms of landscape). "The white sky is the Devil!" But this night, the weather agreed and allowed me to shoot a little sunset action for a change. Трансляция проекта Fotorss.ru. | | Saturday, July 8th, 2006 | | 2:00 pm |

Baby Seal

My friend Mike and I took off this fine holiday weekend afternoon to explore the coast of Maine from his boat. Some of the places we visited I have shot a bunch of times from land, but they looked completely different from the water. I think this outing was largely me getting my "sea legs" about me for other shoots, but we did happen upon a large number of seals in Cundy's Harbor and got _really_ close. Of course the elders weren't too impressed by our proximity and snorted loudly at us as I basically filled my memory card trying to get a good shot of these guys. Let's talk about the weather
[ Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('<img [...] weather'>') in entry. Owner must fix manually. Truth is, most people can prattle on with just about any subject. I am somewhat of a goober about weather though. There's a storm rolling in with chance of lightning? COOL! Let me grab my camera and let's go! I'm always fascinated with interesting clouds. Give me a brooding sky over blue and clear, any day of the week. Just let it blow out within a couple hours ;)</p> <small><a href="http://fotorss.ru/?q=node/915">Трансляция</a> проекта <a href="http://fotorss.ru">Fotorss.ru</a>.</small> | | Saturday, May 20th, 2006 | | 2:00 pm |
Dirty Job

And someone has to do it. Actually, I like working with my hands; getting a little dirty. I write code and design all week, so on the weekends, I actually enjoy mowing my lawn and getting grungy (of course punctuated by breaks to take photos of how dirty my jeans have gotten). The only thing that sucks about this day is my spontaneous pneumothorax has struck again. Hurts a little bit this time. But the house is being shown at 2pm, so crap has to get done around here, whether I feel like it or not today. Трансляция проекта Fotorss.ru. | | Friday, May 19th, 2006 | | 2:00 pm |
Get me out of here

Okay... I'm really not this weird - I SWEAR!! Of course that is a statement from a man who wrapped his head in duct tape recently, so take it for what it's worth. It's been raining for days (and days). Frustration with not being able to shoot scenics and such finally builds up until... well... you get the point. Трансляция проекта Fotorss.ru. |
